In the Chickadee room you will find a nurturing, responsive environment where all infants’ needs are met promptly and lovingly. We know that when infant’s needs are met, they can form a relationship built on trust with their caregiver. The positive relationships infants develop are the building blocks for their brain, which in turn, enhances future learning.
We understand that infants learn about their world through their senses, which is why we provide an environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
There are many opportunities throughout the day for caregivers to provide infants with one on one interactions. The individualized care routines provided to each infant by our caregivers, such as diapering, feeding, sleeping, help each infant learn that they are valued and respected.
